Article writing - Domain PR Check

One of the absolutley best ways to increase your PR / Google PageRank is to write articles and submit them to article submission sites.

But for some, this is easier said than done. And yes – it is a time-consuming process, and if you’re not used to writing, then this can be a particulary difficult task. However, if you do know how to write a small article, then this route can prove extremely successful.

It’s done in some very easy steps, and doing it this way makes the process organic and simple. You focus on what is needed to be done, and hence you can save valuable time and be done faster.

  1. First, create a new free email address. A good place to do this is eml.cc, since it’s free, fast and very easy to setup. It also have very good upgrade features!
  2. Visit about 50-100 article websites (google for “article submission websites” and you will get lots of up to date lists) and choose the ones that have highest PageRank.
  3. Create a new user at each article site, using your new email you created above. Use the SAME credentials on EACH site, so it’s easier to process.
  4. Write an article. It should be around 450 words or more. Use Open Office if you don’t have anything else – it’s free and have good word count. Remember to write a specific article which targets specific keywords!
  5. Now submit the article to each of these 50-100 article websites.

Do the same every two weeks or so. You will actually see traffic and hits coming in pretty fast. Especially your backlink status will increase fast, due to the fact that Google already index these article sites.

Doing two-three articles per month, targeting new keywords every time, will gain you high pagerank pretty fast. And it has the good additional effect that it also brings in traffic to your site!

So good luck – write many articles and increase that PageRank!

There are ways of getting a high Google PageRank “quickly” – but it’s expensive.

No, we’re not talking about payed links. Payed links are not really useful. You have no control over them, and it takes too long time to actually get any results. Of course, all things that has to do with the Google PageRank takes long time. You are always subject to Google’s own updates of the PageRank, which happens about four times per year.

One way of actually increasing your Google PageRank and getting real and not faked PR, is to buy a domain – or complete website – that already has a high PageRank. With “high” we mean PR 5 or higher. PageRank four is good – but it is useless for triggering your other sites with, since you can get PR 3 yourself by other SEO methods.

Easiest is to check the eBay auctions, but also GoDaddy has nice auctions with nice domains. Try to find an auction that has a valid PageRank website with PR 5 or more that is complete with the site itself. Also, it is good if you can take over the hosting account, which means that you are taking over the whole thing, and nothing changes for the website itself. This is the absolute best way of doing it.

PageRank 5 website should be worth around $100-$200, depending on number of links in, traffic, theme etc. PageRank 6 and 7 can be worth several thousands, depending on quality of the website itself. And PageRank 8 and above can be worth much much more.

Check if the Google PageRank is valid, and if it is, and you win the auction (or find the domain/website somewhere else and buy it directly from the owner), pay via an Escrow service so you are sure that you are not tricked. After that, change the website with one (1) or a maximum of two (2) links to the website which you want to boost the PageRank of. Do NOT use more than two links.

And one more thing – be sure to check the backlinks of the high PageRank site. If the backlinks are questionable or you believe they might change in the future, then the value of the new domain/website is of course very low. Be careful!

Increase Google PageRank

So how do you improve your Google PageRank (PR) ?

Well – it’s “easy”. Just get linked by high PR sites. :)

So the question really is – how do you get linked by high PR Sites? Well, that’s not as easy, but there are ways.
Best is of course if you have your own “feeder” PR Site. To accomplish this, without any PageRank at all, you need to buy a site that has a good PageRank number.

You can – of course – gain up to PageRank 3 without much work, actually. The trick of doing that is not so hard.

To be able to get ANY PageRank at all (1, 2 or 3), do this:

  1. Link to your website from all your other websites.
  2. Post your URL to at least 50 directories, preferably more.
  3. Post articles about your website on article submission websites. 50 sites per article, and about two articles per month for three months is minimum.
  4. Do some forum posts if you can.
  5. Submit to all Search Engines and, of course, optimize your meta tags.

This should give you at least some PageRank after the next PageRank change.

But to improve the Google PageRank after this is a bit more tricky – but it’s not as difficult as it might sound!

One way – that works – is to visit Google and the GoDaddy auctions as often as possible and check out all websites that are selling and that have PageRank four (4) or more. If you can not afford to buy the site yourself – try to buy it together with a friend. Be careful though so you do not loose the pagerank – and best way of securing it is this:

  1. Keep the same webhost – this is important. You should always strive to try to use the same IP number as before.
  2. Keep the same website! Check in the web archive to copy the last version of the site. If not possible (maybe due to copyright questions) then at least try to focus on the same themes, goals, keywords etc.
  3. Use only two (2) external links that was not on the site before. One to you and one to your friend’s site, for instance.
  4. Don’t make any changes or updates – just let it be.

If the site you bought is, for instance, PageRank 6, then your website that is linked from this site will get PageRank 5 after next Google PageRank change.

This is by far the easiest way of increasing your PageRank. BUT – beware! Many of the sites selling on the auctions have their PageRank faked. In next post I will go into detail on how to check domain PageRank (PR) and to see if it is valid or not.
